Daniella Pasion
Daniella (Dani) is currently double majoring in Marketing and Entrepreneurship at UH Mānoa and plans to graduate in Spring 2024. She started her business, illicitloverjp in 2021, and now sells on her website and Etsy Shop. In her free time, she enjoys going out to eat at new places, chilling at the beach, and taking pictures of her cat Mango. This semester she looks forward to meeting all of the new members of HSE. She loves the club because of close-knit it feels and how friendly everyone is! Dani says “I’m able to freely share my ideas and surround myself with likeminded people. I have a lot of love for this club, and it feels like home to me.”
Aaron (Ace) is doubling majoring in Management & Finance and plans to graduate in the Spring 2024 semester. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends and going to the gym. Ace says, “I look forward to having fun and learning more about entrepreneurship this semester. I like being in HSE because it’s cool to see the different roads and experiences that each entrepreneur or HSE alum has to share. Follow me on ig @aaron__goo”

Nathan Bregman
Nathan is majoring in Economics and is expected to graduate in the Spring 2024 semester. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, baking, and golfing. This semester he he looking forward to getting to meet people and learn more about entrepreneurship. Nathan says, “I’ve liked going to the different events and getting to see how people have started their own businesses.”
Vincent is currently majoring in Data Science and Finance at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and expects to graduate in Spring 2026. He really likes fast cars, racing, and also does investing and day trading on the side. His favorite thing about HSE is how it allows him to network with other young aspiring entrepreneurs, and practice developing his skills. His entrepreneurial goals right now are to double his income this fiscal year, and grow his LLC.

Matthew Takai
Matthew (Matt) is majoring in Management, Marketing, and Finance and plans to gradate in Spring 2024. In his free time Matt likes making music, playing basketball, and buying sneakers!! This semester he looks forward to meeting new people and making new friends. Matt also talks about his business Mauna Kicks. He says, “Mauna Kicks (@mauna_kicks on IG, Depop) started in 2020 as a way to get rid of old sneakers and stuff but has recently revamped into a new and pre-owned sneaker buy and sell business based on social media platforms and online marketplaces.”
Kristina is majoring in Marketing at UH Mānoa and plans to graduate in Fall 2023. In her free time she likes watching documentaries, making coffee, looking for tattoo inspiration on Instagram, and scrolling through TikTok to see cute cat videos. She personally likes the people/members of HSE. Kristina says “It’s awesome being around people that are like-minded and driven to wanting to learn about entrepreneurship or opening up a business of their own! Be prepared to see wicked snippets of yourself on our reels 😈” She looks forward to making new memories with everyone in HSE and vamping up the club with everyone 🤪🙌🏼

Mikayla Joy Dumaslan
Mikayla is currently majoring in Marketing at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa and plans to graduate in the Spring of 2024. In her free time, she likes to spend quality time with her friends and family or taking naps after watching hours of TikTok. This semester, she looks forward to meeting new members and going to events especially the Founders Mixer. Mikayla says, “HSE provides opportunities to learn more about another side of business that is not typically taught in the classrooms. It’s interesting to hear stories about entrepreneurs and the growth of our loved local businesses.” She is hoping to start her own business one someday.
Jazmyne is currently a Student Entrepreneur early in her college and entrepreneurial journey. Her favorite part of HSE is the emphasis on building an entrepreneurial mindset. Whether you have a business idea or not, Hawaii Student Entrepreneurs offers new insight and perspective into problem-solving with creativity. Growing in an environment surrounded by like-minded and ambitious future entrepreneurs has encouraged her to turn her side hustle into a registered business, Sew Local LLC, where she designs and sews all her accessories and totes to remind customers to perpetuate local values and represent Hawaii through and through. Beyond the business landscape, her interests encompass photography, bullet journaling, and searching for new songs to obsess over.
